Environmental Impact Assessment of Technical Works and Anthropogenic Activities

The technical projects and anthropogenic activities that are implemented pose risks for maintaining the quality of the narrow or wider environment.

The forecast and proposals for the management and treatment of these risks are the subject of Environmental Impact Studies, as well as Environmental Reports, Site Restoration Studies, etc.

Management of Protected Areas

The Natura 2000 network is a European network of protected areas due to the important species of flora and fauna that live in them and / or the important ecosystems they include.

The Management Plans prepared for these areas are guiding tools for achieving the objectives of the protected objects.

Corresponding tools are the studies of recording and monitoring of species and their habitats in these areas, as well as the Special Environmental Studies, their Promotion Studies.

For the protection of sensitive ecosystems as well as endangered plant and animal species in Protected Areas (Natura 2000 Network areas, wildlife refuges, National Parks, etc.) Greek legislation provides for the Special Ecological Assessments, which must accompany each project and activity taking place in these areas.

Environmental Interpretation

The Interpretation of the Environment, as seen by the protagonists of the object, was identified with the inspiration, the restoration of the personal connection of man with Nature, which has been broken by modern culture and the change of perceptions and attitudes of people, to stop the catastrophe of the enviroment.

According to Tilden F., 1977 (Interpreting Our Heritage, Chapel Hill), interpreting the environment is “an educational activity that aims to reveal meanings and relationships, using real objects, primary experiences, and means of representation, not just to cite information.”

The relationship between man and nature is going through a great crisis in modern times that has negative consequences, both for the health of the human body and for the preservation of natural ecosystems, essential building blocks in the life cycle.

We will try to contribute to the reconnection of our relationship with Nature and to the consequent containment of this crisis, through the Design and Implementation of Hiking Routes for the interpretation of the environment in natural ecosystems that surround us.

Design of sustainable ecosystems

Green spaces, both public and private, have become an essential component of our way of life.

Also, the modern needs for reduction of energy waste but also for a positive ecological sign of the companies, lead to the design of gardens that will have in advance minimum requirements in water and energy consumption, through the perspective of creating as autonomous artificial ecosystems as possible. that will resemble the natural and will maintain a high aesthetics.
